Job Description JOB PURPOSE:
On a daily wave by wave basis, or on an ad-hoc as and when required basis:
•Monitor completion and adherence to plan of loading waves
•Loading wave management reporting and administration
•Feedback to planners on plan adherence
•At the end of the wave ensure that the Load Team Leader completes the end of wave process
•Communicate with the business

JOB INPUT REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A diploma or studying towards a Diploma or Degree in Logistics/ Warehousing and/ or Transport Management will be advantageous

ALTERNATIVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE:
• More than 2 years experience in supply chain
• MS Office experience essential

JOB OUTPUTS

Loading Wave Monitoring
• Monitor completion and adherence to plan of loading waves
o Loading wave progress
o Record balances
o Record quality checks and statistics
• Monitor completion and adherence to plan of loading waves
o Monitor load progress against planned start and end times
o Ensure that all load QA's have been completed
o Communicate with Inventory to ensure that no inventory matters hold up the load wave
o Communicate with System Controllers to ensure that no system issues hold up the load wave
• Feedback to planners on plan adherence
• Feedback to Comms Centre on plan adherence


Administration
• Attend meetings where necessary
• At the end of the wave ensure that the Load Team Leader completes the end of wave process
• To ensure accurate information is provided to management, planners and Comms Centre
• Provide daily / weekly / monthly / annual reports to Comms Centre

Customer Intimacy
Implement and manage key relations
• Ensure and maintain ongoing exceptional relationships with the customers
• Instances of poor and/or excellent customer relationships is reported to Management on an ongoing basis

Service Level Agreement
• Degree of compliance to plan
• Analyse feedback from customer and implement corrective action if required
